Our Boat was For sale.
Sold now, enjoy cruising in Eliza Jane Brian and Rebecca.
We owned her from early
2014-April2016 and had 2 full seasons cruising some more of the inland
waterways of the UK.
From as far apart as Bristol Docks to the head of the Llangollen Canal in
Over 500 hours, probably as many locks, including the amazing Cain Hill lock
flight on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Some lengthy tunnels too, like the Harecastle tunnel near Kidsgrove on the
Tent and Mersey Canal, only 3000 yards long!
Which takes about 40 minutes to navigate.
2016 will see us with a brand new boat, built by Stoke Boats. 60 feet long.
due to be launched around the 20th May.

Castle Drogo sits on top of the Teign Gorge, and from Furlong,
where we used to live, dominates the horizon. Jill was asked by the Okehampton Times
to take photos of visitors enjoying the guided tours of the roof, which is
not normally open to the public. However, quite a good covering of snow had
fallen overnight which left the roof very slippery and a danger to visitors
so we were alone (great) on the roof to enjoy the views. Following on from
my home page, here are a few more pictures from the morning.

as a landing stage.

This is the Mid-Devon Hunt coming up into Chagford
from Factory Bridge. Photo taken on B&W Film, processed and printed in my
darkroom and available as a limited edition of 25 copies. Just 1 left! Thank you Hilary.

Lower Street Chagford. One of the
